Feline Guardian of Dark Tales

This painting is a tribute to classic horror—both in literature and in art. Just as Dracula and Lovecraft's stories evoke fear and fascination, I sought to create an image that is both unsettling and elegant. My passion lies in blending the macabre with classical painting traditions, proving that eerie subjects can be rendered beautifully.

In this competition, I hope Feline Guardian of Dark Tales resonates with viewers, sparking curiosity and unease in equal measure. Does the cat know something we don’t? Is it watching us… or reading? The longer one stares into its hypnotic eyes, the more questions arise.
