Bullsnake, Pituophis catenifer sayi, 12"x24" acrylic on board. I truly enjoy painting reptiles and the fact that they don't get the same exposure as some of the more cuddly and furry animals on our planet provides it's own incentive. These animals can be absolutely stunning and they deserve to be in the spotlight more. That is my goal, to shed greater light on the often misunderstood and maligned creatures of our world.
