Siblings is a ceramic sculpture consisting of 2 plates formed in clay. Inspired by both Chinese and Arabic calligraphy, the serpentine form is ever changing and sensual and dynamic. Its image can be perceived as both evil and evolved, good and bad, lethargic and quick, deadly and transformative. The very nature of the snakes' duality offers compelling subject matter. Born in the year of the snake, my spirit animal.
