This ceramic sculpture was inspired by a dog named Franklin. His eyes could reach the bottom of your soul. I sculpt my pieces with terracotta clay, solid on a steel armature. I cut them into sections, to remove them from the armature, then reassemble them on a clay cradle to support them through the firing process. After firing they are primed and painted with Acrylic paint.
